MORGRIP^® Diverless Clamps: Reliable Solutions for Offshore Pipeline Repairs

Connector Subsea Solutions (CSS) has successfully delivered a 32″ Diverless Structural Repair Clamp and a 36″ Diver-Installed Structural Clamp as part of the MORGRIP^® product line.

Engineered for extreme subsea environments, the diverless clamp withstands depths of up to 1405 m with a design pressure of 238 barg, while the diver-installed clamp operates in shallow waters at depths of up to 195 m with a design pressure of 254 barg.

• Wedge Activation System: Ensures efficient closure of clamp halves with even bolt loading, reducing operational risks and saving vessel time.

• Standardised bolt sizes ensure seamless installation. Both clamps use the same bolt size, allowing for easy interchangeability of installation tools and simplifying operations.

Delivered prior to pipeline operations, these clamps were supplied to a client with a strong focus on pipeline contingency planning, requiring high-integrity products ready to ensure reliable operations when needed.
