The MORGRIP® Mechanical Connector has a unique pipe gripping and sealing system that ensures the connection is at least as strong as the pipe itself. MORGRIP® connectors outperform quality welds in fatigue loading, and are DNV certified in performing equivalent to a weld in all other scenarios. This enables MORGRIP® connectors to be certified as a permanent repair solution.

Technical Details:

The MORGRIP Connector is designed in full compliance with the pressure / capacity requirements of DNV GL-RP-F113 and ST-F101 where applicable.

For design purposes alternative codes, such as API-5L and  ASME B31.3, can also be used to determine the required test pressure.

All pressure retaining components can be designed in compliance with ASME BPVC VIII Div. 2 on request.
