All 19 subsea pipeline connectors have been built, tested and shipped to the Middle East.
Over the past few months, our Walsall, UK workshop has been stocked with parts for 2 off 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, 16”, 18” (3 off), 26” and 28” collet gripping pipeline connectors, up to 2500#
Following receipt of materials, our technicians choreographed the workload exceptionally, minimising overall build time and conducting factory acceptance testing on all connectors, with the majority up to 639 bar.
These MORGRIP® MORSMART connectors have been commissioned for EPRS contingency and selected due to their commercial competitiveness, compact design and suitability for thin wall pipe applications.
Tremendous effort from all involved – sales, design engineers, workshop technicians and project managers to successfully fulfill an order of this scale.
