Connector Subsea Solutions (CSS) have recently announced a reorganisation including the promotion of staff in the UK business. This is following the acquisition of the MORGRIP business in October 2019 and relocation to new premises in Walsall, UK in March 2020.
Jamie Sutherland, project engineer and effective team manager within the MORGRIP business since 2015, will now take on the full UK Operations Manager role. By formalising the close working relationship between departments and bringing Engineering, Project Management, Workshop, Service and Rental under a single banner, greater alignment will be achieved and increase the customer experience throughout the entire project journey.
Steve Bolton, a seasoned veteran having been part of the MORGRIP business since 1994, will now serve as the UK Technical Manager, responsible for ensuring that all delivered solutions perform to the high level of quality and reliability demanded by the brand. Having been the cornerstone in developing and evolving the CSS technology, our customers will benefit from the continuity that his knowledge and experience delivers.
“Following 30 years of delivering global pipeline repair and tie-in solutions, we are proud to maintain a 100% in-service, leak-free record. This is made possible by the indispensable talent within our UK business exemplified by Steve and Jamie” stated Paul Hughes, UK Managing Director, CSS.
“We aim to be the Worlds leading supplier of premium products and outstanding solutions for critical offshore connections. Our staff are our most valuable asset and we are very pleased to be able to recognise the contribution that Steve and Jamie have made delivering solutions for the complex subsea challenges our customers face” said Ivar Hanson, Chief Executive Officer, CSS.
