Engineering Services from Connector Subsea Solutions help operators develop bespoke subsea intervention and repair concepts, FEED studies, and new products for complex subsea challenges.

Bespoke pipeline intervention and repair concepts for complex subsea challenges

CSS develops bespoke concepts around each project’s pipeline condition, seabed environment, vessel capability, installation method and operational constraints. This ensures every pipeline intervention and repair approach is practical, safe and engineered to secure long-term asset integrity.

FEED studies for emergency repair readiness

Through Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), CSS helps operators define the right clamps, connectors and installation tooling, and outline methodologies before an issue becomes urgent. This gives projects a clearer design basis, stronger mobilisation planning and a more cost-effective route to ensure a repair can be delivered quickly in an emergency.

New product development for demanding applications

Our engineers develop and test specialist subsea tools, equipment and technologies for complex pipeline and production challenges. From deepwater intervention and repair systems to diver-to-diverless tooling, each solution is shaped by real offshore experience and right-first-time delivery.

Proven engineering support from concept to deployment

CSS combines design engineering, project management and procurement expertise to support intervention and repair campaigns from early concept through to offshore execution. This joined-up approach helps operators reduce risk, improve deployment efficiency and maintain confidence in critical subsea operations.

OUR SPECIALISED INTERVENTION AND REPAIR SOLUTIONS:

INTERVENTION AND REPAIR CONCEPTS

Bespoke intervention and repair concepts and installation methodologies are developed for complex subsea applications involving the repair and modification of pipelines, risers and hydraulic tubing systems. Capabilities include MORGRIP® clamps for localised repairs, MORGRIP® connectors for full-section replacement, pipeline rerouting and the integration of new subsea equipment, including valves, compression modules and piggable wyes, as well as diverless operations on bolted flanges.

Each concept is built around the intervention or repair scenario, including vessel capability, seabed conditions, water depth, access limitations and nearby infrastructure, helping operators reduce project risk and restore and maintain long-term asset integrity.

NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Specialist subsea intervention and repair tools, equipment and technologies are developed for demanding pipeline and production challenges. From Pipe-in-Pipe Clamps and Connectors to deepwater rigid riser repair systems, diver-to-diverless tooling and high-performance coating removal, each solution is shaped by real offshore experience and practical deployment requirements.

EPRS ENGINEERING SERVICES (FEED)

Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems (EPRS) Engineering Services use Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies to define the right repair strategy before an emergency occurs. This includes clamp and connector design, installation tooling, project documentation, test procedures, procurement planning and bespoke solutions for high-risk applications such as high-value and critical pipelines, vertical risers, bends, valve replacements and flange or hub connections.
