Connector Subsea Solutions (CSS) have successfully built and tested 2 off 14” #900 MORGRIP® Connectors with ISO 27509 #900 Compact Weld Neck Flanges.
Functionality and structural integrity of the MORGRIP® Connectors was demonstrated through factory acceptance testing at our workshop in Walsall, UK.
Due to tight delivery schedule, the connectors underwent internal and hydrotesting at the same time, flange to flange, maintaining 148.5 bar pressure for an 8 hour hold period.
The connectors are wrapped, boxed, ready for deployment and installation in the North Sea in August with offshore support from CSS technicians.
Special thanks to Irek Klapka, Dave Riley, Richard Craddock, Billy Jones, Jamie Sutherland, Dawn Hardie and Shahed Razvi for their efforts on this project.
