The Eastern Mediterranean Energy Conference & Exhibition is taking place 10th-12th November in Nicosia, Cyprus and John Charalambides will be participating on behalf of Connector Subsea Solutions (CSS).
EMC 2021 is focused on unlocking cleaner energy for the region, wider Europe and beyond. Energy activities are gathering pace in the Eastern Mediterranean region with Cyprus looking set to become a major sustainable energy hub. The conference aims to support delegates with technical and commercial knowledge to capitalise on the increasing number of opportunities in this region.
Over 3000 delegates are expected to attend the conference, taking in numerous presentations, panel discussions and two B2B matchmaking events to promote network with industry affiliates.
John Charalambides from CSS will be speaking on Day 1 of the conference, sharing insights into Deepwater Pipeline Tie-In & Repair Solutions with Advanced Robotics and Remote Technologies.
Those attending the conference will be able to join John’s session in Hall C from 15.00-15.30 on Wednesday 10th November.
John will also take part in a panel debate on The Future for Subsea Remote Technology & Applications from 16.30-17.10.

John Charalambides, Executive Vice President – MENA at CSS, has over 30 years international experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas market, including management, technology sales and P&L accountability. Based in the UAE, John previously worked for Oceaneering for 27 years in UAE covering clients worldwide with emphasis in the Middle East, North Africa, Mediterranean and European regions.
