Connector Subsea Power Systems (CSPS) will be attending the Global Underwater Hub (GUH) Underwater Robotics Conference 2026 in Edinburgh, joining industry leaders, technology developers and subsea specialists to discuss the latest progress in underwater robotics, and subsea power systems.
Event Information
📅 Date: 30 June 2026
📍 Location: Murrayfield Stadium Conference Centre, Edinburgh
Modular DC to DC power converter

A key focus for the team will be the HV 50 kW DC-DC Modular Power Converter, developed to support subsea electrification where stable high voltage power is essential.
The Modular DC-DC Power Converter delivers up to 50 kW from an input of up to 5 kVDC, providing a revolutionary power source for eROVs, subsea tooling and other mission-critical equipment. Testing is successfully progressing, supporting planned installation into eROVs and future applications in subsea electrical power distribution.
Meet our team

Paul Hughes, commercial and engineering leader with 30 years’ experience driving business growth, technology innovation and high-integrity solution delivery across mission-critical subsea and industrial markets. His background gives him a strong understanding of the challenges facing operators and contractors as offshore systems become more complex and power demands continue to increase.
Richard Wright, Lead Engineer for the Modular DC-DC Power Converter, has almost 30 years of experience in power electronics, power generation and electrical design. Richard was also a co-author of the paper ‘Advanced Analysis of Voltage Rise Phenomena in Electrically Floating HV Power Platforms’, presented at PCIM Asia New Delhi 2025.

To arrange a conversation ahead of the event, please contact the CSPS team or speak with Paul and Richard on the day.
