CSSI to Present High Voltage Research at PCIM New Delhi 2025

Richard Wright, Engineering Manager at Connector Subsea Solutions Isotek (CSSI), will present a paper at PCIM Asia New Delhi 2025. The work investigates voltage rise phenomena in electrically floating high voltage power platforms to help ensure safe operation of subsea power systems.

Richard Wright, Engineering Manager at CSSI will present a technical paper for a research on high voltage at PCIM Asia New Delhi 2025.

Connector Subsea Solutions Isotek (CSSI) will take part in PCIM Asia New Delhi 2025 with a poster presentation by Richard Wright, Engineering Manager. The paper investigates voltage rise phenomena in electrically floating high voltage power platforms.

About the research

The study is titled “Advanced Analysis of Voltage Rise Phenomena in Electrically Floating HV Power Platforms.”

The primary author is Professor Kapila Warnakulasuriya of Teesside University. The work is a joint effort by CSSITeesside University, and Buckingham Magnetics

The research investigates the build-up of stray voltages on a high-power 5 kVDC power supply intended for subsea equipment.

The research offers an understanding of the mechanisms that drive voltage buildup, which helps to ensure the safe operation of cutting-edge subsea power systems.
